What We Believe

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by men of God through the inspiration of the
Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21)  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."  (2 Tim. 3:15-17 KJV)

We believe in one God revealed in three coequal, distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19-20; Ephesians 2:18)

We believe that man in his natural state is a sinner, lost, undone, without hope and without God. (Eph. 2:1-2; Romans 3:23)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, by His incarnation and virgin birth he took upon Himself the form of man.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.” (John 1:1-2 NIV)

We believe he lived a sinless life, was crucified, died and was buried.  He rose again three days later and became the only sacrifice for the sins of the world {Ephesians 1:3-5; Romans 5:1-11; 1Peter 1:18-19} in order to undo the works of the devil.

We believe that salvation is obtained only through his shed blood on Calvary. (Hebrews 9:14)  You must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in the resurrection, and thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

We believe that believer's Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances of the church and should be practiced regularly. {Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-10; 1 Corinthians 10:16-21}

We believe in the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit according to the book of Acts 2:1-4 and the endowment of power after we have received the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38-39; 10:44-46) which enables us to go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation and obey the instruction given us by Jesus Himself in Mark 16:15-18.  We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that these gifts are given to believers as the Holy Spirit determines (1 Cor. 12:4-11) and that they are given to stengthen the church (1Cor. 14:26).

We believe in the visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth to judge the world and to claim His Bride. {1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7}

We believe and look forward to the second coming of Christ establishing His Kingdom and reign upon this earth and for those who have received Him to spend eternity with Him.   And for His judgment to be absolute and sovereign (Revelation).

We believe that we should live everyday in the expectation that He can return today to retrieve his bride and that we should be ready, prepared without stain or blemish, understanding that this righteousness is only attained through our acceptance of the gift of salvation offered through Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice on the cross for each of us personally. (Rev. 19:7-8; Rev. 21:2) Come Lord Jesus, Come! (Rev. 22:17)

We believe that we are a chosen people belonging to God and that we should declare the praises of Him who called us and lead and encourage the Bride to declare the praises of our King. (1 Peter 2:9)

We believe that we are called by Jesus Christ himself to fulfill the Great Commission. “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (Mark 16:15-18)
